a snapshot, a transition

One of the many skins I have since shed.

Digital fragmentation is my specialty.

The living resume is here, infrequently built wares of soft here. The largely unattended running photo album is here (a better, more self-effacing photo album collects internet dust here.) Little shards of my left brain may get scattered around here. I simply cannot tweet as well as any common sparrow, so I am content to listen (to them).

My favorite words are those that construct images. I often trail off mid-sentence because I am trying to find the perfect one. If you know of any authors who are brilliant at bringing images to life, please do recommend. I am starting to really fall for surrealist artists.

Current identity-crisis-solving theory: I care about the things I care about because I find beauty in them. Dance, rhythm, musicality, quality of movement. The art of aging. Figurative language, well-timed wit, elegant transitions. Minds whose power I can barely comprehend. Abstraction. Nature. Grassroots conservation, clean energy, circular supply chains, cultures of reciprocity, cultures tied to their environments. People. Friendship. Teammates who call each other close friends.

I find beauty in all these things, and so much more. I am fed up trying to find a more unifying theory than this one. The beauty of beauty is how deeply mine it is. And I always love to discover more.

I am both less and more than my digital presence. Hopefully more of more.
